The Del Valle Independent School District Board of Trustees voted Tuesday to name the district’s second comprehensive high school North Del Valle High School.

Austin FC’s nonprofit arm, alongside Soccer Assist, Q2 Holdings, Inc., U.S. Soccer Foundation, and Del Valle ISD opened a new soccer space at Dailey Middle School.

Del Valle High School teacher Katherine Murphy Thompson has been selected for a Fulbright Distinguished Award in Teaching Research for the 2025–2026 cycle, granted by the U.S. Department of State and the Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board.
